“I would appreciate it if you’d keep out private arguments to yourself instead of alerting the whole team to any problems we’ve had.” Akaashi was a fairly private person and the idea of the entire volleyball community knowing about their relationship problems made him very uncomfortable.
“I haven’t told anybody anything!” Bokuto retorted as he tossed his phone onto the side table. “Do you really think I would do that?”

“Ah!” Momo cried out again, shutting her eyes and placing her hands over her ears. She completely disregarded Shouto’s presence, too afraid from the closeness of the storm as she embraced herself, shaking slightly as she did.
It took Shouto a few seconds to put two and two together. From the way she clutched onto herself, how her eyes were squeezed, and the small back and forth rock of her body, he was reminded of how fear would take over himself, too.
Swallowing, Shouto carefully approached her as if she was a wounded animal. He placed his hand on the bed, close to her feet. He sat down slowly, trying to let her become aware of his presence. The mattress dipped with his weight, and their eyes met.
“Yaoyorozu,” Shouto whispered. “What can I do?”
Shouto helps comfort Momo during the thunderstorm season.
