Summary
After they killed Francis Dolarhyde, Will was certain he pulled Hannibal off the cliff with him, but when he wakes up, he’s still on the edge of the bluff, surrounded by FBI agents and paramedics. It’s apparent Hannibal got away safely, and Will is put on the task force to help find him.
When Will finds Hannibal’s journal in his old cell, filled with entries about, and drawings of, himself, he sneaks it into the waistband of his pants and takes it home. The journal contains fantasies of the life Hannibal wishes he and Will could have had. It forces Will into dealing with his own feelings, and figuring out what he wants.
Will can only hope the journal leads him back to the man he aches for.

“How the hell did you get your hands on a genuine wool Mcallister?”
The model slid his hands into the pockets and shrugged his shoulders closer, burrowing into the warmth of the coat. He gave a final long shudder, and let out a soft sigh. Kravitz swallowed past the lump in his throat, forcing down a quiet possessive thought about coats and thin torsos wrapped in oversized garments, and then thought about what the model just asked.
Part of him wondered how this model could recognize both the brand and make of the coat, and not recognize the designer of the coat. The model was still waiting for an answer, his eyes intent on Kravitz and Kravitz cleared his throat again.
“I know a guy,” He said, deciding not to expand on his identity just yet. The model gawked at him, leaning in close.

Dr. Hannibal Lecter is a man of privilege and passion, still close friends with his ex-wife, and a consultant for a lucrative new venture. Unable to fix up his little boat to head to New York on his own, he's advised by a grumpy boat mechanic to seek a ticket on the Campania instead.
This is a very slow burn story, we're talking they kiss at the end of this book. But we really hope you like it!
