“So...” Jeongguk turns to him with a twinkle in his eyes, “same time next year?”
Seokjin can’t help but laugh. “Sure, same time next year.”
seokjin finds himself wandering into a quaint little tent, drenched in sorrow on the day he supposes one should feel the most love.
The Border was what protected the Fallen Realm, the home of the fallen angels. It gave them the strength they needed and the ability to only allow true Fallens in - and unless they found the right stone to restore it, they were all in danger.
"There is a possibility that the Soul Stone that may form if King Taehyung were to find his soulmate and successfully complete the Soul Ceremony, may be the Painite stone."
Taehyung had lived as a Fallen Angel for more than four thousand years. He had seen everything that he could possibly see in his Realm but he loved it with all his heart. It was his home, his solitude. To even think that all that he had built, his empire, could be threatened in thirty days or less did not settle well with him.
He will not allow his Kingdom to fall.
It isn't Jeongguk's fault that he's been carrying a diamond choker around with him for a while, and it definitely isn't his fault that he has been wondering what Seokjin would look like with it against his skin.
Jeon Jeongguk had a plan. He always had a plan. He was thorough with whatever he did and had his entire life planned out at the age of ten after facing certain circumstances.
A reckless decision that in no way fits into his plans takes a turn for the worse as he marries Kim Seokjin, even though Seokjin is already married to Min Yoongi.
He thinks he has it all set. He just wants stability.
Then enters Kim Taehyung, and Jeongguk realises that he's ruined not just his, but everyone else's lives too.
"We should get married if we're both still single when we're 30," Namjoon had said when they were 18. It's the moment he brings it up again when they're both 29 that Hoseok panics. So Hoseok runs.
