Summary
Zhou Zishu tucks himself into the corner where two of the rooftops meet in front of a larger than usual overhang. It’s a nice quiet place, with the roof conveniently angled to block the sun and sloped so that someone can sit there comfortably for hours. He has a perfect view of the entire courtyard but cannot be seen by anyone on the ground below. He knows this because he designed it that way when the manor was rebuilt. It’s one of dozens of defensive hidey spots scattered across the grounds.
It also makes an excellent place to spy on your husband.

“Little Sage,” Qin Huaizhang said slowly.

Wen Kexing puts a vibrating plug into Zhou Zishu before they go out, and holds onto the remote.Zishu shudders as — not for the first time during this shopping trip — the plug nestled in him buzzes to life. Except it doesn't stop this time, the way it has before when Kexing flicked it on and then off again just to tease, to remind Zishu that it was there.
