Summary
Hannibal is a mob boss and Will is his silent attack dog that no one sees coming. Most of the people Hannibal deals with don’t meet Will, only hear about him. He’s the man you only meet once.
"Chiyoh told me this one said he'd heard about me," he tells Hannibal, his voice low and rough. "They call me your pretty show dog. They think you just keep me around to use whenever you feel like it. If only they knew. If only they knew how desperate I can make you. If only they knew how hard you have to fight to keep me on my leash."

"No, I don't think so, sweetheart, you're not goin' anywhere." He goes still in Will's lap. "You wanted t'live on the edge, and now you're about to fall." He squeezes at Antony's ass again, fingertip rubbing against his hole causing him to tremble in Will's lap.
Hannibal all but slams the door behind him. "Antony?" There is anger in his tone, but Will is almost certain it's directed at Antony alone.
He tries to twist and turn in Will's embrace, he still does not allow it, "You're with me, sweetheart, you don't need t'be lookin' at him." Will speaks loudly and clearly so that Hannibal can hear him, so he can hear how thick Will's accent is.
"I will not repeat myself, Antony, what are you doing?"
"What does it look like he's doing?"

Will stops.
"You're awake," he says with realization. "You've been awake the whole time."
"I am," Hannibal says and turns his head on the pillow to face Will. "And I have been. Does that disappoint you?"
Will reaches up and runs his fingers through Hannibal's hair. In the seven years since the cliff house, it has gone completely gray and Hannibal now wears it loose and long, the length hitting below his ears.
"Yes," Will answers honestly.
