Put the disc in the ender chest, Tubbo, now. Please." Through the whole exchange his eyes stay fixed to Dream, whose movement has ceased as he considers the new arrival.
Or, Karl lives through the Eggpire's victory over the server and the loss of everyone he cares about. Desperate to change the future, he travels back in time to the event he's pinpointed as the beginning of things going irreversibly wrong- Doomsday, the third and final destruction of L'Manberg. As he struggles to keep his time traveling a secret with a failing memory and Dream's interference, allay the concern of his fiances, and maintain an uneasy alliance with Technoblade, the Egg begins to whisper threats and promises in his mind.

He's a bit distracted by some blue flowers he found that he can turn into dye later, and he doesn't remember why but he doesn't like looking at the expressions the people around him are wearing. Are they sad? Good thing he found some more blue, then!
His movements slow as a word makes it through the fog in his head. Exile. He knows that word.

Summary
a series in three parts
1- techno & phil talk wilbur down and convince him to return to their childhood home with them after the war, giving the people of l'manberg a chance to rebuild
2- wilbur, techno, and phil (+tommy through letters) at home, learning how to heal and let go of the past
3- wilbur returns to the rebuilt l'manberg and starts to rebuild his life there with tommy, free from the pressure of leadership that had started his downward spiral the first time

((((SPOILERS FOR THE MARCH 1ST TOMMYINNIT STREAM))))
Phil knelt by his son's side, "Wil, look at me," he commanded gently, not caring that he used the wrong name, "You alright mate?"
He wasn't ready for the sight before him.
Ghostbur's eyes were filled to the brim with blackened tears, pouring down his cheeks like an endless waterfall of sorrow, and his expression could only be described as desperate, horrified even. Ghostbur had only ever cried once before, as far as Phil knew. When he and Technoblade had teamed together to wreck havoc upon L'manberg and raise it to the ground, left as nothing more than a memory of what used to be.
But those tears were nothing compared to this.
Or...
It's not Tommy's time to die yet, but Dream manages to kill him anyway. The afterlife wasn't ready for the new presence and Ghostbur feels as a new gap is torn into the abyss, soon filled by the boy he considered his little brother.Series
