Behind him, Megumi shuffles awkwardly, setting down the unconscious, pink-haired boy against the wall. “You heard him,” he mutters, eyelids fluttering shut once more.
“You heard me!” Satoru crows, so bright and so stupid that Suguru wants to both kiss the look off his face and turn around and back to bed to avoid having to deal with this entire mess. It’s far too late to be dealing with this kind of shenanigan.
“No, I heard you,” he says tightly, eyes not leaving the King of Curses' vessel once as he pinches his nose in exasperation. “I’m just asking- just trying to figure out if you know how bad an idea this is, even by your standards-”
