“Hey,” He says, successfully catching the younger boy’s attention.
“Hey,” Jeongguk says back, casual and clearly uninterested.
“Any particular reason you’re drinking gasoline on a Thursday night?” Yoongi asks, thanking the bartender. He peeks over at Jeongguk as he wraps his lips around the straw. Jeongguk is looking back at him with a smirk on his face.
“If you’re trying to get in my pants, then this is a very weak conversation starter.” He chuckles. It’s missing something.
“I’m not,” Yoongi says honestly.
“Then… why are you here?” Jeongguk tilts his head. The question lingers in the air for a minute before Yoongi takes a deep breath.
“You look like you feel just as empty as I do,” Yoongi shrugs.
“So, what? You came to check on me?” Jeongguk scoffs, a huff of a thing before he downs the rest of his drink, shoving some bills on the counter.
“Do you want to get out of here?”

he doesn’t know why he feels this way. he doesn’t know what caused a depressive episode within him. he made his lists, ate when he was hungry, worked on tracks for the album. what went wrong? maybe leaving the dorms triggered a panic episode? a depressive episode? maybe he’s finally going insane?
after some time of trying to figure out what went wrong, he gives up with a wet sigh. he feels tears on his face as he stops thinking.
his mind goes blissfully numb.
