Summary
Immediate follow on from Cannoli and French Toast.
Puppies, paintbrushes and little brothers.
Throw into the life of one rather highly strung, easily stressed out Olympic Gold Medal winning Seattle Fire Captain.
Add a Station full of firefighters, a handful of surgeons and it's almost certainly a recipe for disaster.
Or would be, apart from the one extra, essential element, one special doctor and the only person, other than her little brother, that Maya Bishop has ever said 'I love you' to.
Because then? The something between two people that was already wonderful and incredible becomes noisier and messier and a little more chaotic and yet, it is still, at its heart, just theirs. Fantastic, magical, uniquely theirs.
[There is no relationship angst - Maya/Carina are angst free but the *feels* associated with backstory of canon characters generate *feels* that if the writing's worked as with the earlier stories in the series].

Summary
Immediate follow on from the Epilogue Extra Bits scenes of Perso Piccoli Cuccioli di Fuoco.
With only a couple of days left in what had already been a difficult year, the last thing anyone needed was another difficult situation involving someone being shot who shouldn't have been...especially when that someone was Seattle's youngest ever Fire Captain.
Still, it was, as Jack would eventually point out, one way of getting Maya to go slow enough for little puppy legs to keep up...
[There is no relationship angst - Maya/Carina are angst free but the *feels* associated with backstory of canon characters generate *feels* that if the writing's worked, might feel a bit angsty. Also contains reference to past drug use and injuries (milder than show but still to note) - individual chapters have notes were relevant].

Summary
Chapter 1 is my fluffy and slightly silly take on that glorious moment in s4e08 when Maya recognises a particular line that Gabriella, Carina's ex says in Italian.
Chapter 2 is an extension of that fluffy take and is the closest I will ever probably get to writing anything that specifically addresses the story arc that a) brought Gabriella to their apartment and b) is not remotely fluffy. It is an entirely OPTIONAL read as Chapter 1 is a complete fluffy ficlet.
This is not set in my 'puppy' stories series, but is faithful to the show's canon.

Summary
It's Valentine's Day and Maya's having another go at winning the unofficial Grey-Sloan 'romance war' after her uncontested Christmas victory when a Cap and two puppies saw Carina float onto 'Cloud 19'.
Thing is, to make her plan work, she needs a little bit of help from a friend or two...and those friends might be also trying to help make sure the Captain and her Doctor don't forget this particular Valentine's Day....or the fact that the Station Captain is very much alive.
[This will make limited sense if you haven't read my other stories in the series as it is a continuation of the same timeline. If you are reading 'E i cuccioli ne fanno cinque' in 'real time' as I update it, BE WARNED - THIS FIC HAS A COUPLE OF SPOILERS IN IT.

Summary
[Description Update (March 2017) - In light of where the TV show has elected to go with the Bernie Wolfe character, this is now technically a 'slight AU' or 'canon divergent' story series. Everything after s18 episode 36 'Missing You Already' is considered to have not happened.]
Major Berenice 'Bernie' Wolfe, former patient on Darwin, has worked enough shifts at Holby City hospital to be known as much for her brusqueness and blunt bedside manner as she is for her surgical skill and calm under pressure. Some days, the only silver lining is that her private life is now, thanks to the divorce being finalised, considered 'old news'.
But that's not a life, and she didn't fight her way through to this point in her life in order to stop living... so she starts on her new life in Holby which isn't actually that different from her old life in Holby except, once you look past the beret and the bark, she's actually not that different.
And for that, Alex is very, very grateful.
{Warning - I like happy endings, but am not adverse to a little bit of drama along the way...}
