Summary

“Well,” said Zhongli, “it’s not because of Azhdaha. It’s because I am living on borrowed time. Trust me, you don’t want to love a dead man walking.”
“What if I still want it,” said Childe hotly. “I don't care if you're too old or whatever.”
“I might not live to see the new year,” said Zhongli.“Hell, with the way this war is going, humanity might not live to see the new year.” Childe retorted, latching onto Zhongli’s hand.
