Alec Lightwood was a fantastic Shadowhunter, the best big brother, a great parabatai, and the love of a certain warlock's considerably long life. He was, in a word, extraordinary.
But on top of all that, he had an uncanny ability to charm any baby that he came across.
Magnus might be the warlock in their relationship, but there was something about Alec that was truly magical.
