    Summary

Looking at Arthur, framed in the sunlight breaking through the trees, makes something flutter in Merlin’s chest. He turns away quickly, gripping the reins. “You’re annoying.” He hears Arthur trying to muffle a huff of laughter. “This whole trip is annoying.”

Arthur sighs. “Is that what you’re so grumpy about? You’ve been suspiciously quiet since we’ve left Camelot. Not even one comment about how high the trees are, or something equally idiotic.”

When Merlin and Arthur share a 'thank god you're not injured, I thought you were hurt,' kiss, that's all it is. Or at least Merlin is certain that's all it is, because there is no way Arthur has actual - feelings for him. Now he just has to figure out why Arthur keeps looking at him like that.

(In which Merlin is oblivious and should have just listened to Gauis in the first place.)

    Summary

Camelot holding a tournament is never good news for Merlin. Visitors to Camelot inevitably mean trouble and when one of those visitors sets their eye on Arthur, Merlin isn’t sure if Arthur is at risk of being seduced or something more ominous.

Uncovering a murder plot isn’t nearly as scary as confronting his feelings for Arthur, but at least Merlin hasn’t been kidnapped. Yet. Or revealed his magic to Arthur. Yet.

His destiny may have other ideas.

    Summary

“She took some of my stuff.” Eddie replies, pulling at a thread on his t-shirt.

“Objects that encourage femininity, fragility, and emotional and physical attraction to the same sex,” Stanley reels off, nodding.

    “My journal,” Eddie says quietly.

“Past feelings of homosexuality,” Stanley says flatly. “Don’t write anything they wouldn’t like in the new one they give you. They read them. You can say you miss home, but don’t mention any male friends. Don’t talk about any of the boys here. Don’t slag the camp off, or they’ll put you away.”

1993- When Sonia Kaspbrak catches Eddie kissing Richie, she sends him away to be treated for his sins in another state. Whilst Eddie searches for ways to fight back alongside new friends Stanley and Beverly, Richie unites a ragtag group of losers for a journey across America to rescue him.

    Summary

This was Richie Tozier, his best friend, the Richie he had known for a little more than half his life, the Richie that lent his Pokémon cards to him after only knowing him for two days, the Richie that watched The Exorcist with him for the very first time and let Eddie cling to him through all the gory parts, that kept spare packs of Little Debbie’s Nutty Bars and S’mores Pop-tarts in his pantry just for him—it was Richie and then It Was Richie, and Eddie didn't even try to put up a fight. The battle was lost before it had even begun, and maybe Eddie didn’t want to fight anymore.

    Summary

"Is he bothering you?" Bev asked, tossing a knowing look Richie's way—that he caught with a roll of his eyes—putting distance between them.

Eddie blinked. Yeah, he wanted to say, yeah, he's bothering me. It would've been easier if he had just said it, if he had just told her yes and let her save him from the nicknames and the jokes and the looks and all of it. Maybe, things would have gone differently had he simply said yes. Maybe, if he wasn't three shots in and a terrible lightweight, he would have. But he didn't. Because he looked at Richie, and when he looked at him—really looked—he decided that he didn't really mind being bothered. Not by Richie, anyway.

    He sort of liked it.

or Eddie comes home to Chicago for the summer like he always does. He hangs out with Bill, watches bad movies with his dad, and lets Richie Tozier stick a hand in and mix it all up.
