It had lead him to the coffee shop where he had made so many new friends, where he’d met the two people who would become his partners, to the home that had felt more worthy of the name than the place Dorian had grown up in. Dorian has no regrets.
Dorian sneezes three times in rapid succession, each sneeze making his throat feel like it’s being shredded by broken glass. “Ow,” he croaks, laying back against the pillows on the couch.
Dorian has no regrets, even if every Spring the trees try to kill him with their terrible pollen, something that had never been a problem back home.

Except that then he drags Dorian out to a joint called Dancing Lights and the cloistered Wyvernwind brothers discover that they've shown up on the night of one of the club's most popular events.
There is no way that their participation in this is going to end well, Dorian thinks wearily.
(He's so wrong about that. But it's a nice surprise.)

It had been Orym that had taught Ashton the difference) caws again, hopping over to a small shape in the snow nearby. Green armor. Brown hair. Red blood.
