Of course she wasn't going to be her “normal” loud self on the anniversary of her late grandmother's death, December 20th. Of course she had to state that bluntly and in a monotonous voice to her clearly worried teammate- she'd been dissociating for the most of morning and evening practice and almost got a ball to the head abouut seven times, and she barely reacted to Ukai’s yelling about getting her “head out of the clouds” or something. That's just what she does, isn't it? Ruining the atmosphere and making everyone uncomfortable somehow.

"Try harder, then!" Kindaichi grits his teeth."Shut up, King! No one can hit your tosses, so stop ordering them around!" Kindaichi snapped, glaring at Kageyama. The others on the court shifted uncomfortably.

Yuutarou took another peek at the man sitting next to him. Everything about him told of elegance and dignity. His tan skin was warm yet bright, a complexion reminiscent of the glow of a setting sun. His hair was a long flow of inky black locks that entrancingly pooled behind him like a waterfall, so soft to look at as well.
His hair contrasted beautifully with his pure white kimono, crisp and tailored to perfection. It looked immensely heavy as well with all the layers but Yuutarou wouldn't have been able to tell with the way Kageyama carried himself. And this was the ethereal being Yuutarou had just wed.
And he despised it.
