    Summary

Obi-Wan was abandoned in a war zone with child soldiers. After peace was declared by the Young, she was again exiled. A certain Weequay happened to find this lost child and decided he was going to raise her as his pirate protégé.

20 years later, the Negotiator with her Firebird crew are legends. The Pirate Queen is known far and wide. Even Hutts don't dare cross her. The Republic would like an alliance, and send the 212th and 501st under Generals Skywalker and Jinn, the infamous former Master Padawan Duo. Cody thinks that all this fuss over a no good scoundrel is pointless. Anakin is starstruck as he is about to meet his childhood hero, and Qui-Gon can't seem to shake this foreboding feeling about the identity of this masked pirate.

When Qui-Gon Jinn said that he would take no more Padawans, 13 year old Jedi Initiate Obi-Wan Kenobi was left to make his own way in a world that he no longer understood.

Now, years later, Senator Kenobi wishes the Jedi would just leave him alone. But it's never quite that simple, especially when the famous Negotiator has a war to stop, a galaxy to save, and a young Padawan to protect.

    Summary

Qui-Gon Jinn had been a wise and powerful Jedi. A renowned diplomat and a skilled duelist. Kind and compassionate. A truly great man. At least that's what Ahsoka had always been told regarding her Great-Grand Master.

After landing 60 some years in the past, she has the opportunity to meet the man. And well...Ahsoka is beginning to think Anakin's opinion had been highly biased. But Ahsoka's got bigger things to worry about than one grumpy Jedi Master. Like the Sith.

She can't help but worry about it though, when she keeps running into a young Obi-Wan Kenobi whose wandering around the Temple looking like somebody just kicked his puppy. He's days away from aging out and Jinn is too stubborn to see what's right in front of him. And baby Obi-Wan is just far too adorable okay. But she really doesn't think it's a good idea to take on a padawan right now, what with planning the downfall of the Sith and all.

Morai disagrees. She thinks its a wonderful idea.

    Summary

“Please, can’t we get just one competent government?” a man sighed as he received his fifth funding request back, unopened.
There was nothing special about this man. His name was Irdo Gyrk, originally hailing from Chandrila before his need to “see the galaxy” sent him rushing off to the nearest space port, and then his need to eat sent him into the arms of the first steady job he could find. In all, Irdo Gyrk was a plain, unassuming, and all together unimportant man, who worked as a minor assistant to some equally unimportant bureaucrat.
This man was just like any other man, this day just like any other day, and his words just like any other low-level government employee frustrated with the slow-turning cogs of bureaucracy. The difference, of course, is that this time, someone was listening.
That someone was the Force, and it was an asshole.
