    Summary

Before the Beginning, Raphael devised plants and fungi that would heal, stars that might or might not appeal to other angels, and some ungodly-looking reptiles. One day the fly agaric mushrooms were gone, and the next time Crowley saw them, they’d been imbued with the knowledge of good and evil under a tree with a do-not-touch sign. Sometime later, Crowley attempts a temptation and instead finds a lot in common with their divine parent's half-human son.
In the present, houseplants conspire to make an angel and a demon confess their love for one another, angels and demons conspire to re-start the apocalypse, Michael still wants to know why their sibling isn’t answering their calls, Uriel kept a secret that got out of control, Dagon just loves a good scandal, and Anathema strives for a better plotline.
In which Crowley confronts some old de- well, angels, Aziraphale comes to terms with some feelings about God, Warlock is quasi-accidentally adopted by his godfathers, and old prophecies come to fruition in a manner that no one could have anticipated.

    Summary

“Dr. Fell,” says the first, “your specialty is religious artifacts, is it not?”

“More or less,” Aziraphale says, fidgeting with his hands.

“Then you’re just the person we need,” the second agent says as he pulls out a few leaves of paper.  “Our latest field reports put them somewhere called Tanis.  We know from the information we’ve intercepted that they’re searching specifically for religious artifacts, but other than that we haven’t the foggiest idea what it is they’re looking for.”

The first takes a sip from his glass of water, then pointedly stares at Aziraphale.  “Any idea what it might be?”

They stare Aziraphale down like it’s an interrogation.  Like a test he hasn’t studied for.  Like any of his meetings with Gabriel.

Aziraphale freezes in his seat. Centuries - millennia, even - have passed since he last saw the Ark.  Since he had walked with the slaves through all of that pain and suffering; tried to be a helping hand to Moses.  He had been there when it was constructed, when the tablets were laid inside.  He knew its power.  He’d seen it.

He hadn’t been there when it was lost.  Had he known it would be, he would have destroyed it himself.

    Summary

The easiest way for a demon to give his angel goodness is through food.

When Crowley shows up with pad thai, or takes Aziraphale to a new tasting menu, or leaves boxes of biscuits on the kitchenette shelf, Aziraphale accepts it all, smiling, happy, unsuspicious, no accusation of demonic wiles. He gets what he likes, which is food, and Crowley gets what he likes, which is to make Aziraphale happy. A rather good arrangement, lowercase a.

    Summary

Crowley and Aziraphale start a detective agency. Shenanigans ensue. Slowburn continues. Apparently, there is plot. I have some thoughts about Heaven, Hell, and humanism. There will be stupid jokes and a healthy sprinkling of angst.
