Choice versus destiny is much more difficult to navigate for the man who will become the Dark Knight, and the woman who is the Demon's Daughter. In a world where everyone knows their soulmate at their first touch, how do two such determined individuals navigate a future neither of them expected?
This is a Brutalia-style Soulmark AU. It's also a fill for Prompt Bingo Round 12. In talking over my prompts with other fans on the Fyeah Talia server on Discord, inspiration for this story hit me, and I ran with it. It's gonna be at least three, maybe five chapters.*

Summary
A series of drabbles set during Jason Todd's training with Talia al Ghul. I do 'ship them, but most of this is going to be set before the end of Lost Days, so he's still in that phase of having a crush that he thinks is unrequited. Absolutely nothing happens before he's of age - Talia is not a rapist. A lot of these drabbles are basically excuses for me to write headcanons and backstories about two characters I adore.
These drabbles are fills for Trope Bingo Round Twelve. Each chapter is a separate fill and prompt, but I'm setting them all in the same "universe" so to speak, and posting them in chronological order. The chapter titles will be the prompt for which the chapter is the fill.

Summary
Sequel to A Torch in the Darkest Hour, which you should probably read before this.
A simple mission to find some missing Omegas ends up opening a new chapter in the lives of Alpha Talia al Ghul, and her Omega, Jason Todd. A figure from her past brings forth more than just long-buried and painful memories. Trying to get his photography career off the ground, James comes up with an idea to do a couples photo shoot...with two complete strangers (this is apparently a recent trend. go google it if you're curious. I couldn't believe it until a 'friend' of mine got dragged into one, hence the inspiration for this story)
He already has one person in mind, his reclusive friend Lena, who seems adamant to stay single forever after a messy split with her ex. And after a lot of convincing from her sister, Kara agrees to participate in the shoot as well. Neither Lena nor Kara expect anything to come of it. It's just a photo shoot, after all. But perhaps James is just as good a matchmaker as he is a photographer...
