Summary
It's not the best move to burst into his office first thing the next morning and demand, "You're royalty?" with probably a little too much glee in her voice, but Liz couldn't care less. This motherfucker has a coat of arms. With basset hounds.
Finn startles so badly he almost falls out of his chair, eyes wide for a moment before settling into their normal squinty belligerence. "The correct term is 'aristocrat,'" he says. "And how did you not know this? It's hardly a secret." He still looks shifty, though. More than his usual, default shifty.
"Because the minute you weirdos start talking about dukes and duchesses, I feel like I'm trapped in a shitty off-Broadway production of The Lion In Winter."

Summary
From genrenommer's suggestion during Promptfest '22:
What if for Reasons, they need someone to pretend to be a woman, and so the obvious choice is Stede (look, Jim just isn't very convincing) (Stede played the heroine three years running in the school play, of course he knows his way around a skirt) And Ed is very interested in this look. Very interested.

I can assure you that my transfer has nothing to do with your club's relegation, nor is there anything that Richmond has done in error. Rather, I have spoken with my editors and we’ve agreed that this is the most appropriate course of action.
I wish you all the best in the season.

The thing that’s hard to remember about Nightingale is that he’s only sort of lived through the past seventy-plus years.

Summary
"Be honest, sir," I said, scrabbling for the left flipper, "I look like a moron."
"I’ve seen you look moronic before, Peter," Nightingale said, flicking the wheel right and sending us careening down a side street and me thudding against the left-hand door. "This does not even, as you put it, 'crack the top ten.'"

Summary
There are some great quick guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide, dividing all of the available tags into the following categories:
1. Text Formatting (in-line HTML)
2. Page Formatting (block HTML)
3. Tables and Lists
4. Links and ImagesEach tag will have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example.
It will also introduce tag attributes, ways to further refine formatting, for a few simple - but widely applicable - cases.
