Summary
He sighed, stirring more sugar into his tea. “Exactly how bad is this going to be, Pansy?”
There was a very long pause. “Look. Draco and I are engaged.”
“Er,” Harry said, slowly. “Congratulations? Except, um, you do know -”
Pansy glanced up, looking almost amused. “That he’s stupidly in love with Hermione?”
“I was more going to say that she was stupidly in love with him.”

Summary
The thing about magic is that you can’t do it by yourself. No one person has enough magic in them to do even a minor casting – you need a coven. Parker knew that about magic, which was why she couldn’t trust it.

Summary
She grins, retrieving her beer. Her rings clink against the glass.
“I knew there was more to you than just a pretty face.”
That makes him pause. “You think my face is pretty?”
She’s mid-drink but still gives him an amount of side-eye that rivals Eli at his most judgemental. “Objectively, yes,” she says after swallowing, wiping her mouth on her wrist. “It’s not a compliment. I’m just stating a fact.”
“It feels like a compliment.”
“Well. Far be it from me to try and police how you feel.”
“Are we flirting?” he asks. “Is that what’s happening? Because it’s hard to tell.”
“We are, but it doesn’t mean anything. Keep your socks on.”
“I’m not…wearing socks. You’re confusing.”
“You like it.”
He does.
