The fighting part and the living part are concepts CC-1010, Marshall Commander Fox is comfortable with.
The dying part? Not so much.
Now the GAR will have to choose... because some doors you just can't close.
(It's still mostly just fluff and crack set in an Eldritch Corrie AU)

MC CC-2224 has, from 03.01.19 to 03.31.19, undermined all authority of HR Rep KD under the guise of asking about benefits which he is aware are not available to those in his classification. Further, MC CC-2224 has posted inappropriate questions in employee discussion forums as to whether insurance policies around senatorial animal companions may be extended to CT-officers in the GAR.
(Cody gets hurt and has to leave the field. Waxer and his fellow officers step in to pick up Cody's responsibilities only to find out that their commander has a special sort of relationship with the GAR's HR department.)
