“Attention, everyone!” Tenya shouts into the nearly empty 1-A classroom. “Somebody has been leaving unauthorized flyers in students’ shoe lockers! In the future, please refrain from doing so unless you have been given special permission from a teacher beforehand!”
“What does the flyer say?” Asui asks with a curious tilt of her head. “I didn’t receive one in my locker.”
“Same,” Todoroki says. “I didn’t see any loose papers or anything when I was over there.”
Tenya stops waving his hand. He pauses before answering. “I’m… not sure. I didn’t actually look to see what it says.” Tenya’s brow furrows. “Did you two really not receive any suspicious articles in your lockers this morning? Just me?”
After news spreads that a student in their class has received a love letter from an admirer, several students in class 1-A are inspired to take their own actions to confess their feelings to their crushes.
It was all useless anyway. Ideas useless to entertain, desires useless to indulge. All that was left at the edge of the cliff was the rocks below, and Sasuke had hit them often enough to know better than to take the plunge anymore. Naruto took friendship to the extreme, and the only reason anything he did could be misconstrued as something more was the fact that they were both comfortable that it wasn't.
Or, well. Naruto was. Sasuke was...something else.

“Give me your brother then,” Madara demanded. “I would have him in good faith.”
“But—” Hashirama’s eyes widened.
“I will not accept peace of any sort if you do not give him up.”
Sasuke’s mouth loosens around the edges, “You actually enjoy knowing it, huh?”
“Yeah,” Naruto rubs the nape of his neck. “I don’t know, I like knowing what you ate, what you did, all that. Is that weird?”
“No, it’s quite nice. No one has been this attentive before.”
(Naruto loves a challenge so it makes sense he doesn't turn down this one. Lucky for him, Sasuke's been on his side all along.)
