    Summary

Look at his Captain stealing across the frigid room to be sick in the privy so as to not wake him – was that generosity of spirit not more true than a high-handed compliment or fair manners? Was that not gallantry at work?

    Summary

Venice, 1870. The heart of winter. The once great city republic is on its knees. The banned institution of Carnevale lives on discreetly in the masked balls that light up the grand palazzi of the rich and the well-born.

Mr Will Graham, detective, travels to Venice from London to give a lecture on the Hobbs case. His desire to remain in the city only briefly is soon scuppered by matters both bloody and sentimental.

    Summary

Will Graham is a performance artist, the darling of the art community, who puts on his most daring performance yet, Rhythm 0, a piece in which he stands still for 6 hours and lets the audience do whatever they'd like to him—cut him or kiss him, even kill him, if they can work up the nerve. Hannibal is a renowned art critic who's utterly unimpressed.

When he writes a scathing review of Will's performance, Will invites him to a private showing of Rhythm 0. Things take a decidedly sexual and dangerous turn, especially when Will realizes there's more to Hannibal than meets the eye.

    Summary

She feels like this isn’t something she’s supposed to see, so of course she watches anyway. It doesn’t matter. They’ve gotten sucked into that weird private vortex they have, where the only thing that exists is each other. They don’t hug, or kiss, or touch or do anything normal. They just sort of stare at each other. Hannibal looks at Will like he’s the whole world, and Abigail ignores the jab of pique she feels.

Abigail loves her new family and their life in Italy. She isn't jealous, except sometimes she is.
