Summary
After Praimfaya, Clarke assumes the worst of the damage she took was to her body. When Lexa persistently and insistently keeps showing up in her dreams, though, she worries she's losing it. But maybe Lexa's final words to her weren't just meant to be comforting - maybe they were a promise.
or: The Flame leaves a copy of itself behind in Clark's mind, and as she's dealing with radiation poisoning after Praimfaya, Clarke comes to realize Lexa really will always be with her.

Summary
Clarke feels a pair of strong arms wrap around her before she can reach the ground, holding her steady.
“I’ve got you, Clarke.”
Lexa’s voice is impossibly soft, and she continues to hold her upright with relative ease. Clarke moves to grip the front of the jacket Lexa’s wearing tightly with both hands, devolving into sobs before her.
“Don’t let me go,” Clarke chokes out, balling the jacket so tightly in her hands that her knuckles begin to hurt. "Please don't let go."

Summary
Opening the door to her office, Lexa steps inside with apologies falling from her lips. “Ms. Griffin, I’m really sorry for keeping you waiting. I had some hiccups in my morning, I’m usually much more punctual than this.”
The woman settles her phone down and straightens up, lengthening her spine before getting up. All Lexa see is blonde hair neatly combed falling over one shoulder, and she looks away for a moment, quickly putting her bag and planner away on a table by the entryway before meeting her new head of finances.
“There’s nothing to worry about. I’m sure you had a difficult morning,” the words find Lexa before she looks up and her blood turning into ice, little crystals keeping her heart from beating.
That voice.
Lexa knows that voice.

Summary
As you grow older the whispers come more frequently, and then slightly stronger.
You wonder if it's because you and your soulmate are growing up or because of something else.
By the time you're twelve you don't remember what it's like to not have a voice in the back of your head. Although you've never mentioned to anyone how sometimes the voice is in another language that you half understand from hearing it all the time. Or how none of the names your soulmate mentions are in the Ark directory.

Summary
Lexa gets her tattoo with her soulmate's name before Clarke and is very much confused because "Clarke is a guy's name and I'm not...into guys...?" And Clarke is the new girl in school who thinks the brunette in her history class is very cute. (You can expect fluff and a lot of Clexa).
