A hurricane. A butterfly. An immediate connection. A fairy tale. And a head-first dive into unreconstructed fluff.

    Summary

John Watson is a soulsurgeon damaged by war and by caring too much -- if there is such a thing. Sherlock Holmes is struggling with the effects of a curse that bids fair to end his days as the world’s only consulting detective unless a way is found to lift it.

...But Sherlock doesn’t believe in curses. Even assuming that he learns to believe in John... will that be enough to save him?

New! Take a look at the beautiful final-scene fanart from Sweetlittlekitty: "John, do you dance? The waltz, specifically?" ...Thank you so much, Kitty! (And thank you too, Mysterious Individual who commissioned it! You're wonderful!)

    Summary

In the post-Trojan War Bronze Age of ancient Greek myth, an enigmatic new God with a gift for deduction is sent to put a stop to the lifesaving ways of a warrior-prince with healing hands. But suddenly Prince Iaon's moved in with the Consulting God and they've started solving crimes together. And what follows after that is... most unexpected.

Warning! Contains: a lot of Greek wine, embedded casefic, explicit industrial-strength smut (starting around ch. 19), the birth of firearms discipline and other freeform but entirely justified anachronism, body parts (some still splendidly, if not magnificently, in use), and True Love tested to destruction… and final triumph.

Last updated, May 14: Ch. 35, "Of an Overnight Stay and a House Incorrectly Named." In the lavish home of the prime suspects in the ancient world's most notorious serial murders, the Consulting God and Iaon stake everything on an undercover operation that will either reveal the hidden evidence they seek, or expose them both to danger deadlier than anything they've faced before....

Not sure if this one will ever update again, but I very much enjoyed reading it. Good worldbuilding and fusion with Greek mythology.

    Summary

Sherlock pauses. “I don’t need a coffee, but thank you,” he says. “I suppose I’m just bit stuck, I suppose. Not with the evidence. I’ll solve that in the morning. I don’t know how to move forward with something.”

Molly swallows. She knows this very well, but somehow, hearing it said aloud at last will still feel like a bit of a dagger. “You mean with John,” she says, very evenly.

Their eyes meet across the lab. She waits for him to deny it, but he doesn’t. His directness is one of the things she’s always liked the best about him. “Yes,” Sherlock says.
