His voice sounded closest to her left, and sure enough, the shellphone he’d insisted would come in handy one day was sitting on the nightstand. She grabbed it by its string and brought it to her ear as she nestled down, breath catching by the faint vibrations Killian calling her name spurred. His gentle, gravelly words were like waves of understanding washing over her, like they were on the same restlessness page, and her constant moving relaxed for a moment.
Or the one where it's the night before the wedding and they both can't sleep so they break out the shell phones and talk about the broken road that led them to each other.
- Part 32 of The Captain Swan Playlist
So what if eight months had passed? It confirmed all love ever does is break and burn and end.
They hadn't said much about this Killian Jones, but he was taking her to the coffee shop. The one she'd been too afraid to walk in alone, sit alone, eat alone, and admit she was better off alone, just meant to be alone.
But she's off in her high heels to fulfill Mary Margaret's wishes and face her fears with a stranger. On a Wednesday of all days. Here's to hoping.
- Part 31 of The Captain Swan Playlist
Emma has done everything in her life alone. That is why when she gets partnered up with Killian Jones for six months as her dancing partner, she does not like it. But it's either that or continue pissing Regina off and mess up the chance to take her dancing career to the next level. No way is she gonna pass that up, so reluctantly she agrees. Between late night talks, grilled cheeses, secrets spilled in the dark, Emma soon finds herself falling hard for the man who shows there might just be a life beyond dancing, but is she brave enough to go after it?
(Plus an extra scene from before Emma and Killian decided to kiss each other senseless in the airport)
- Part 2 of The Captain Swan Playlist
Emma Swan has four rules.
Rule #1: Leave, before they leave you.
Rule #2: Disappoint, before they disappoint you.
Rule #3:Don't fall, because you only know how to crash and burn.
But she's been breaking all of these ever since Killian Jones swaggered his way into the office and into her bed. He's different, despite his perfectly trimmed scruff, endearing blue eyes, and an accent that causes every word to sound like sex and promises. And now it's Midnight and she's up against the wall -again.
But there's still one rule left. Rule #4: Don't look back.
- Part 4 of The Emma and Killian Winter Fluff
She's always alone on her birthday.
But this time, she's not.
