Kaoru smirked, finally meeting his gaze. “Every day.”
“Which is why you find yourself in my bed on most days?” He didn’t even try to suppress the laugh that tickled the back of his throat.
“Precisely.” Kaoru shot him a vicious grin before pulling him in for a kiss.
This was what they did - pretending everything was how it used to be, pretending they were too over it to care.
Kojiro couldn’t tell where the pretending ended and their true feelings began.
