Some things never change, Jaemin muses. The two of them, sitting alone in the practice room, tired and panting but still going. Jeno has flopped down onto the floor, one arm over his eyes as he tries to calm himself down. The rise and fall of his chest follow a known rhythm, like the many times they have found themselves too exhausted to carry on.
It comforts Jaemin a little, knowing that no matter where they go or how long Father Time has spared for them, Jeno will always be by his side, steadfast and unchanging.
