“Tell me broken boy what it is like to burn,’”
Chenle whirled around, his eyes wide and his breathing heavy, “Who’s there?” he called out his voice shaking. A figure slips out of the shadows kneeling in front of Chenle, “I am Jisung son of Selene the goddess of the moon,” the figure’s voice is strong but there’s a hint of something that Chenle can’t quite recognize.
“I am Chenle, son of Helios and Hestia,” Chenle said, pulling himself up off the ground. Jisung shuffles into the light, Chenle is taken aback by the sheer beauty of the male, he has ebony hair that falls onto a face that looks like it was carved from marble by the great sculptor Pygmalion.
“You are parasite clinging to the beauty and grace of Olympus,”
And… well. Maybe Renjun does have a crush. A tiny, little crush. But that's only for him to know and to suffer alone with it as he watches from the sidelines. Nobody needs to know that he’s pining for the new boy in the team and that Sungchan really is the reason why he suddenly started to show up for their practices.
Renjun is sure he's doing a good job of hiding it, even though Jaemin insists on the opposite. Jaemin doesn't know shit, anyway.
Jeno sees a ghost of his past dancing among the supermarket shelves with a crown of daisies upon their head.

Another MCD, think pocket watch, daisy flower crown and sadness, but more than that too ;-;
Summer before freshman year, Chenle is told three things:
1) Take regular physics if you want to live
2) Sit at the O form at the AP tests so that the memes will be relevant, and
3) Don’t fall in love with your best friend.
Unfortunately, he's never been good at following directions.
It’s a game of ‘my soulmate situation is weirder than yours’ and Hyuck can’t believe he’s losing.
To Renjun of all people.
