  Summary

  Teenage sisters Eda and Lilith are expecting a boring summer out in the wilderness, but stumble upon an alternate world where anything seems possible. They get separated by chance, Eda ending up with mysterious yet cheerful Luz the Otter Lady on her traveling steamboat, and Lilith happening upon Lady Amity, Leader of the Emperor's coven. They enter the same world, yet are introduced to it so differently. Will their conflicting views and values be what drives them apart?
