Peter and Stiles had been friends in middle school, but there was an accident that caused Peter to become the family Alpha. He became slightly feral due to the new upgrade in power. He distanced himself from Stiles so he wouldn't hurt him. Just because he left Stiles doesn't mean he didn't still think of him all the time. From his smile to the moles on his neck to the smell that enchanted Peter when ever he got a whiff of it. Being Captain of the basketball team caused Peter to be one of the most sought after people in school.
Stiles was the lonely nerd who thought he'd never get the guy of his dreams. He missed the boy that used to crack up jokes, bare his teeth, laugh without care, and smile a real fucking smile. Now Peter watched and measured each and everything he did because he knew everyone was watching. Waiting for him to slip up and make a mistake. He couldn't come over and play with Stiles like he used to. He couldn't be the friend that was there for Stiles after his mom passed. That held him through the night as he cried. He couldn't even be a distanced friend. And Stiles he understood that. But that doesn't mean he liked it.

Stiles has spent the last few years alone. Neglected by his father after his mother's death Stiles does what he can to survive. This of course means he doesn't always make the best decisions or do the right thing. He doesn't do the right thing quite a few times actually. But from these mistakes he learns and he grows. He is only human after all. Well, for now.
Inspired by the Evanescence song of the same name.
"It is 2:30 in the morning, so this had better be good, Stiles."
Peter's number was listed right under Chris's as Creeperwolf, and Stiles had hit the wrong one.
"Oh, um. thiss wuzza a. um. a mistake." Stiles slurred unevenly
"Stiles." Peter's voiced sounded a lot more awake and a lot more intrigued. "Stiles are you drunk?" he sounded delighted.
"Yeah, but like, I shouldn't be." Stiles suddenly recalled that he had only had two drinks, and one of those was a virgin drink. His head was hurting, and felt before he saw the shadows moving at the other end of the block. His spark wasn't telling him anything, and more than anything, that made Stiles start to panic.
Stiles didn't really know what he was thinking when he made the profile on such a website, he had heard men at the club he worked at talking about how it was easy money and as he's struggling to pay his way through college, easy money was what he was looking for. Though what he got in return he hadn't realised was what he was really looking for, what he really needed, not until he met The Alpha.
