  1. Summary

This is the story of how Stiles and Derek and a band of teenagers became something else—the sum of parts, a pair, a pack, a family. Growing pains, doubt, and misunderstandings stand in the way, but they're ready.

    Well, most of the time.

    Summary

“Jesus!” Stiles fumbles, tries to catch him, and as soon as his hands are on Derek again, the screaming stops. Derek’s eyes are wide, and he’s panting on the ground.

    “Stiles. Stop touching me.”

“Fine. Whatever. Just trying to help.” He pulls away, and Derek doubles over, groaning.

“Come back, come back.” Derek moans, reaching towards Stiles. As soon as their skin touches, Derek relaxes, falling back onto the forest floor.

“What’s going on?” Stiles asks, his hand slipping in the sweat that coats Derek’s skin. Derek twists his arm and grabs Stiles’ wrist.

“If I stop touching you, it feels like... It hurts, like wolfsbane.” He sits up. It twists Stiles’ arm into an awkward position, and Derek lets his grip loosen just enough for Stiles’ arm to slide against his fingers.

“You can’t let go.” Stiles says, wrapping his free hand around Derek’s arm.

    “I can’t let go.”

    Summary

With deliberate slowness, he slid his foot down until it was pressed instead against the tensed muscles of Damen's abdomen. They were riding boots, soft leather soles made to slide easily out of a stirrup and warmed by Laurent's skin, hugging perfectly to the shape of him but for the little bit of give at the ankle, which was creased supple with use.

Laurent asked, lightly, "Will you brace it for me?"

"Yes," Damen said. He felt out of breath.

Wonderfully written, incredibly satisfying slow-build Sterek. Entire Hale Pack is wonderful as well.

    Summary

“Look, man," Scott says, "if you really don’t want to go, you don’t have to. Derek will understand, I’m sure.”

    “Derek. What does Derek—?”

“Hey, look at the time.” Scott hops off the bed. “If you’re coming, get a move on. Train to catch.”

“Fine, fine.” Rolling his eyes and muttering under his breath about best friends, man, Stiles pushes around the boxes of ammo before picking two.

Scott peers over his shoulder. “Uh, we’re not going to war, dude. We’re going to Idaho.”

“And how many times have you been to Idaho?”

    “None?”

    “Exactly.”
