It’s probably going to go down in history as the worst kiss Steve Harrington ever got, but Eddie doesn’t give a fuck. He isn’t going to get another chance so he’s working with what he’s got. It’s less of a kiss, and more of a slide of lips, wet with blood and tears but he feels Harrington’s grip tighten on the back of his shirt and he pulls back. He reaches up with the hand he can still feel and pushes back a strand of hair that had fallen in Steve’s face, smearing blood along his temple as he does.
“Sorry. Couldn’t die without knowing what that felt like.”

The click of a lighter sounds like the final nail in Neil's overdue coffin.
It’s only been a few weeks since the last game of the season and only a month since Neil kissed Death on her cold, cracked lips. He found fear tastes a lot like rotten meat, the kind that lingers in worn clothing and clean silverware drawers.
Aaron is still plagued by nightmares. He finds solace in Andrew's presence - but so does Neil. So what if they both have a nightmare?

Nobody expected Andrew and Neil to be a normal couple, with that ocean of trauma the two shared.
so, here's Five times the foxes were surprised by how normal Andrew and Neil were, and the One time they were all confused.
Where Andrew is healing and Neil is a sunshine boy, and the foxes get to witness a few glimpses of their cute dynamic.
“Remember,” Bee reminds them as they approach their neighbor’s house, “Abby and David adopted Neil only a month ago, so this is his first time meeting some new friends. He’s only a year younger than you. Be nice, okay? And don’t push too much if he’s shy. If you don’t know if he’ll be okay with a hug or something like that, just ask him yes or no first.”
“Okay,” the twins chorus back, before sprinting towards the door in hopes of pressing the doorbell first.
(Aaron wins, but it’s a close thing.)
“Well hello, kiddos!” Abby answers the door with a grin. “David! Kevin! Neil! The Dobsons are here!”
