This is a very AU piece that, again, came to me in a dream. I've been watching too much period TV. In this, Thor and Loki have come back from fighting in WW1. Each has their own goals, lots of family drama, and hopes as well. Enter Jane and Darcy, and lots of mystery, intrigue, and adventure for Darcy and Loki. I've never written a 'historical thriller' before, so I hope this works. Also, it will take a little while to get smutty, but then it will get down right dirty, as is my way. Um, not beta-ed so please excuse the errors here and there.

When Jane had come to Darcy begging for her support and company while she attended 'this thing with Thor' Darcy had been slow to agree.
It was, of course, entirely Darcy's own God-Damn fault for not picking up on the rather vital inflection in Jane's voice when she'd made the request. Because 'this thing with Thor' was, in fact, a Thing. An actual, honest to God(s?), gathering of the big players of the nine realms (well, the peaceable ones) in Asgard.
... Oh, and one indolent and bored God with a 'thing' for buxom wenches.
