He knows if he doesn't let it out very soon, it's going to explode out of him in the messiest possible way, at the most inconvenient possible time. Considering what he has to do tomorrow, he can't afford that.

With gentle fingers he lifts Wangji's chin and his eyes go wide when he realizes what's going on.
"Lan Zhan, are you--" Wei Wuxian looks up to meet his eyes. "I thought you Lans didn't drink?"
"We don't," Lan Xichen replies. He can't hold in an exasperated sigh. "Except, apparently, where you are involved."
Lan Wangji gets drunk. Lan Xichen doesn't have time for this. Wei Wuxian is confused, but handling it. Cupcakes are involved at one point.

"Pity it didn't take," Goro responds airily. His rolling suitcase clicks into place as he slides it against the wall, pressing the handle back down with the air of someone about to fully unpack.
