Summary
Global warming released new diseases, ones that humanity isn't prepared for, and in the aftermath of these new, virulent plagues, society is disintegrating and everyone has to make compromises they'd rather not, to survive. Jared and Jensen just want to get to Texas--home--but nothing's that easy. Jared has allergies, ones that could kill him, and medicine isn't easy--or cheap--to come by.
La Hacienda is the playground of the rich and powerful, people who can and will pay generously for their pleasures. They can get anything in this new world. Including the medicine that Jared so desperately needs. They've stocked the house with the beautiful and (formerly) famous to live out their dirtiest fantasies...including Jared and Jensen, who will have to work very hard indeed to make sure that this time, The House doesn't always win.
