During an argument Phil calls Clint stupid. In the heat of the altercation he says/intimates it several times. Later there are general apologies and Clint forgives him but he still can't help but feel sucker-punched by it. This was a particular weak spot for him, one that his Dad, Barney, foster parents, the Swordsman loved to hit him in and now he's got Phil's voice in his head, every time he messes up, repeatedly calling him stupid. It doesn't matter what he's doing: a mission, paperwork, dinner, conversation - every time Clint makes a mistake it's all he can hear.
Up to author how Clint reacts to this - does he dive into his work; go totally perfectionist; get reckless and have the Avengers start calling him stupid too because of his stunts; quit SHIELD altogether; get depressed; get angry; try to carry on as normal but slowly fall apart? So many possibilities.

He doesn't have time to make friends, and it's too dangerous to fall in love. At least that's what he tells himself, but a strange one eyed qunari and his gaggle of children tempt him even so.

Tama seems to have misunderstood what Bull meant when he said that Dorian Pavus is a pain in his ass. She's decided that Dorian's coming to the Charger Family Holiday Celebration, and no matter how many times Bull tells her that as the school principal, he shouldn't be dating teachers, she won't give up.
Dorian, who had firm plans to do nothing this holiday season, is not about to give up the opportunity to torture his boss. After all, there's a reason he gets along so well with his fourth graders.
What's a bit of holiday subterfuge between strictly platonic and slightly adversarial co-educators?
