    Summary

Yuuri Katsuki owes Phichit Chulanont twenty dollars.

Specifically, Yuuri Katsuki owes Phichit Chulanont $20 and a large pizza. That he has to deliver to Phichit himself, while wearing a hamster kigarumi, mirrored aviators, the six-inch stilettos he normally reserves for his pole dancing classes, and a whole of lot groveling. Which Phichit will probably film and upload to youtube, much to Yuuri's chagrin. And yet, the terms of this ridiculous bet are not currently at the forefront of Yuuri's mind. Instead, Yuuri is focused on the most important part of their arrangement:

Yuuri Katsuki owes Phichit Chulanont twenty dollars, because Phichit was right.

basically: Phichit and Yuuri made a bet on whether or not 3-degree night-prowling Russian transfer student Victor is a vampire, with an array of terms, the least of which being $20. Phichit is right about the vampire bit, and he is also right about Victor being super gay for Yuuri (though there wasn't a bet on that), but unbeknownst to both of them Victor has been under the impression Yuuri is also a vampire, thanks to a Halloween party that drunk Yuuri pole-danced at and sober Yuuri does not remember. Yuuri understandably freaks out about all three of these facts.

    Summary

One of the first things John did was to write up step-by-step instructions on how to conduct a proper job interview before handing it over to Mycroft for his perusal. There were no kidnapping, deserted car parks or stolen therapy notes anywhere on that list.

(Or the one where John returned from the war and ended up working for Mycroft as his personal assistant slash doctor on retainer. Everything was fine, until he was sent to post bail for one Sherlock Holmes.)

the one in which John is actually kind of prepared for Sherlock's Sherlockness. deadpan, snarky John at his best and Sherlock at his most reluctantly-smitten.
