You might hide some of the emotions you consider unimportant or unnecessary, but you still express when you’re happy, sad or angry. I could clearly tell when you were confused or curious as well. So no, I don’t think any of you are the one responsible.”
The others were silent, soaking in what he had just said. They all had their eyes back on Black, his prone form a sight that continued to wound White’s heart. He had had his moment the previous night to adjust, or try to adjust, to the vision of Black unconscious in a hospital bed. So he allowed them the chance to do so themselves now.
Or, a continuation of my one shot set in an AU where White tells the gang the truth without ever going undercover as Black.

Summary
AU: Bai Fengjiu, Princess of Qingqiu, enjoys her life in the relaxed, informal kingdom of Qingqiu. She rarely ventures up to Heaven Kingdom because she finds the politics and gossip tiresome. Even Dong Hua Dijun, the legendary immortal she had once admired above all others, has proven himself prone to drama and intrigue, especially after what Fengjiu heard about his false wedding to the Red Demon Princess Ji Heng. Fengjiu is glad that her only connection to Heaven Kingdom is through her aunt, Bai Qian, who marries Crown Prince Ye Hua. But Fate plays tricks on little foxes who try to keep their noses out of trouble. And Fengjiu's delicious sorrowless pastries attract the notice of a certain silver-haired Emperor when they are served at the wedding banquet.
Note: In this AU, DH never saved FJ, she owes him no debt, and never served as his maid or met Zhihe or Ji Heng.
Disclaimer: The characters and settings (and basic structural narrative) in this story belong to the original author, Tang Qi Gong Zi, and to the writers and actors of the 2020 Chinese tv series, Eternal Love of Dream. I am only borrowing them because I am an obsessed fan and 56 episodes was not enough. I am making no profit from this fluff.

Summary
Wei Ying died horribly in the Burial Mounds, with the destruction of the Stygian Tiger Seal being his weapon of choice. He thought that it would all end with his death.
But alas, there truly is no rest for the wicked (or so he thought), when he awakened on a single plank road surrounded by darkness. Just as he feared that he was in his own personal hell, a heavenly official informs him that he is, in fact, now a God.

Summary
Iris Potter has been the Mistress of Death for several millennia and has long developed an apathetic response to matters that didn't really concern her. She's used to travelling in between time and was frequently traversing many worlds, the dutiful being that she was.
She kept everything plain and simple―visit and immerse with the locals, but never form any kind of relations that could get her stuck and hurt.
That was until she chose to return to this one universe because of a promise.
Iris certainly didn't know that one innocent vow she'd made eons ago to a child would unexpectedly be the perfect start for more.
