    Summary

Keith couldn't bear a universe that didn't have Shiro in it. What he got was a universe that had a Shiro that no longer loved him. And maybe if it had been anyone but Keith, that would have mattered.

Keith, however, had made a promise. "As many times as it takes," he'd said.

If he could make that promise reach beyond the bounds of death, a little thing like Shiro marrying someone else wasn't going to stand a chance.

    Summary

But this time it wasn't Evelyn's fault that she wasn't listening. For once, she really couldn't help it. Because all of a sudden, in one brief instant, the crowd had parted and something—someone—had caught her eye from across the room. It happened in a flash, like something out of a story—a sudden burst of sparks and stars, an explosion pounding against her skull, lightning down her spine. (Or: Three times Evelyn walks away, and one time she doesn't.)

    Summary

When you accepted your first job offer from a reputable company straight out of college, you thought you were going to be there climbing the corporate ladder for the rest of your life. Unfortunately, things change. Monsters come out of mountains, magic stops being a fairytale, and people lose their jobs. After months of unemployment and the growing reality that Ebott is simply just too expensive for a person in your position, you move to Halfway, a pop-up town about halfway between Ebott and the monster city of Aboveground. Monsters, as it turns out, are happy to employ humans and the pay is fairly generous. The downside? Having a human work under you is more of a status symbol, so your jobs are restricted to entertainment and manual labor. You prefer manual labor.

In a world that’s rapidly changing and a line of work that no longer wants you, you go on a journey of self-discovery, meeting new and interesting people along the way. It will take time and a lot of hard work, but you’re nothing if not patient.
