Stiles, a.k.a. Spidey, Spiderman, Spides, or ‘Hey you!’, is doing his best to keep the streets of his city safe. He rounds up bankrobbers, giant hostile robots, and saves children from burning buildings.
If only that pesky werewolf would stop interfering with his work.
For a moment he is taken aback. “Holy- Are you for real?”
The wolf growls at him, baring sharp white fangs dripping with saliva.
“Right. You are for real. Got it.” Stiles glances at the bodies on the ground. “You left them alive,” he says, “So either you’re saving them up for when you get those late night munchies-”
The wolf growls louder at him, blue eyes flashing in the dark.
“-so that’s a ‘no’ to that. So… what? Are you the new superhero? Trying to rid the streets of scum? Parents killed when you were a little wereboy?”
“Go bug someone else, Spiderboy. I’ve got other shit to do.”
“Spiderb- Spiderboy??” Stiles splutters, not quite believing his ears, “That’s it. You’re going down, Fido.”
- Part 5 of Sterek
Look, it’s not like Stiles set out to become…this, okay? When he went on that tour at Argent Corp Lydia all but dragged him to last year, he wasn’t expecting to get lost and accidentally stumble into their highly confidential bioengineering lab and get bitten by a radioactive spider. He certainly wasn’t expecting the almost fatal fever and the powers that followed a few days later. Not that he’s not grateful for the whole super strength/wall climbing/ danger sense thing, but he’s currently on his third phone this year after having accidentally smashed the others with his bare hands, so it can be a bit of a hassle.
Stiles is Spider-Man. For some reason, he thought it'd be easy.
Stiles does not have time for this right now.
He’s trying to dodge a multitude of bullets from trigger happy henchmen while still holding on to the six year old hostage who’s frantically clutching at his shoulders. Stiles whispers soothing words to the child as he swings his body forward, casting another web as they start to fall to the ground. “I hope you realize you’re shooting at a little kid right now!” Stiles shouts at the henchmen, trying to find the kid’s parents. “There’s a special circle of hell for that y’know!”
Or, the Spiderman!AU
The supernatural really wanted to make sure Stiles couldn’t be happy. He sat down at his desk, figuring he could get some research done since his headache had been dulled thanks to magical werewolf healing powers. He sifted through the notes he had haphazardly thrown on his desk earlier this morning, his lips turning down into a frown. He really needed to have Lydia help him organize everything better. He pulled a few pages here and there, trying to remember where he had left off. One page caught his eye in particular. Scrawled over the copied paper in the margin was his own handwriting in blue ink.
He stared dumbly down at his own handwriting, blinking several times, hoping with each blink the words would slowly disappear, ink seeping into paper, like it had never existed.
What the fuck did that mean?
