“I don’t make a good impression, I know,” Derek grumbles. “It’s fine. I get it.”
“Noooo,” Stiles groans in frustration, “but it isn’t fair because you’re not that guy, you’re not an asshole and you give cats punny names so they have a better chance at being adopted.”
“Who told you I named the cats?” Derek asks, his brows scrunching together in confusion.
“Scott,” Stiles smirks. “My favorite so far was Purrsephone.”
(Or the one in which Derek and Stiles both volunteer at an animal shelter, Derek works with cats and gives them punny names, Stiles works with the dogs, and misunderstandings ensue).

When death, in the form of hunters, comes for a family of Kelpies seeking refuge in the Preserve - in Hale territory - the Hale Pack is too late to save them. Before he dies, the male Kelpie presses a precious bundle into Stiles’ arms and begs the Emissary to take responsibility for it, which an initially reluctant Stiles does. When he agreed, Stiles had no idea what the sight of him with a baby would do to his esteemed Alpha, Derek. If he’d known, he might not have been so reluctant to agree.

The Pack is in trouble, they resort to drastic measures only things go wrong.
“What went wrong?” Derek stepped forward. “Something feels... not quite right.”
Stiles went to the table where the book with the ritual was open, the translation next to it. “Tell me what you did Lydia. Exactly what you did.”
“Everything as we prepared and planned to do.” She replied, haughtily. “Exactly as we translated it. Nothing went awry.”
“Nothing went awry?” Stiles repeated. “Then why is the moon gone?”
The assholes in New York thought mugging me was a good idea. I mean I get it, really. It’s the apocalypse, it’s a dog eat dog world. So honestly, I can’t really fault those dickbags for wanting my stuff. However, that didn’t stop me from having to kill them. A shame, really. Had they just let me go, they would have lived to see another day.
The one where Stiles has trekked across the country to finally get to his safe haven. Him and his pack of wolves, actual wolves, have finally reached safety. Or have they?
So, there's this folder in my Google Docs (Google Drive, whatever) called "Stiles CIA."
Stiles is in the CIA! The main story takes place 12 years after Stiles leaves Beacon Hills, mid-way through his Senior year of high school. It doesn't adhere to the canon plot past season two, but Cora and Liam do show up, because I like them (and it's my story). Basically, shit happened, Stiles left, and he hasn't talked to anyone in 12 years. Of course, life is irony, so it doesn't last.
