When he first sees Changkyun, he inhales a little too sharply. This isn’t how Jooheon remembers him at all. His soft brown hair is now jet black and styled up and out of his face, showing his forehead and a silver eyebrow piercing. His once soft face is a little more defined, jawline sharp and cheekbones more prominent. He’s wearing a black t-shirt tucked into incredibly tight black pants that hugged him oh so well, along with a thick silver chain around his neck, and various other silver pieces in his ears and on his fingers. He looks expensive, like Jooheon shouldn’t even breathe near him or else he’ll be fined.
“Yeah, I think we’ve met before,” he finally mumbles out.Or
Changkyun and Jooheon watch each other from afar until their friends give them a little push.

There’s a quiet calmness about Changkyun that seems to draw Hyunwoo towards him. As awkward as their friends say they are together, the two of them know what their friends don’t: they know the soft comfort of being wrapped in each other, the weighted feeling of one body on another, of low murmurs and whispers, of hands loosely clasped and legs intertwined. Their friends don’t know of the nights that they stay at home and watch the sunset while the TV buzzes in the background, neither paying attention to anything in particular other than how it feels to have a heartbeat so close to their own.

But Changkyun noticed that not only did he not mind Hyungwon’s arms around him, but also that he actually liked it. Welcomed it even. And maybe would long for it in the future. And maybe his platonic feelings towards his friend, wasn’t exactly as platonic as he would like them to be. Changkyun froze at the thought, not knowing what to do with the feelings that somehow came rushing down. He tried to breathe in and out to even his fast-beating heart, but somehow it made it even worse since all he could smell was Hyungwon.
( Or an au where Changkyun didn’t think that he’d ever see one of his friends in a different light. Turns out, it only takes a little bit of alcohol and cuddling to change his mind)
