    Summary

Castiel’s heart stumbles before he can stop it, before he can think about how pathetic that is. To think that every interaction the Swans have proceeds them, that everyone is just waiting to get a glimpse of one of them to fuel their gossip circles for the next three days. Even the invisible shy flutter in his stomach at the thought of the Swans (not the Swans, just one of them, just one single man, but is that any better?) makes Castiel feel like he’s participating in the blatant objectification that he’s uncomfortable just witnessing.

The Swans are only people. This is something that Castiel holds onto. Just people who happen to have a generational curse in their bloodline. And when he interacts with Sam Winchester or Eileen Leahy at his stall, it’s easy. He says hello, they say hello back.

The Swans are just people. And yet, Dean Winchester remains unfathomable.

or the one where the swans are social celebrities, there are different varietals of honey, and dean and cas are both familiar with the concept of loneliness (until they're not)

oh my god i've only read chapter one so far and im in love with this. i feel the cas characterization has be perfectly achieved here, and i cannot wait to see more of dean (and my darling eileen). gabe has been here only in mention, but he's so perfectly gabriel.

chapter five's ending has left me in tears and unable to utter anything other than a soft "oh." this is so Beautiful and Otherworldly i cannot get over this fic. the loneliness has been captured perfectly in both of their povs. crying over it rn

    Summary

There's a tall, dark-haired man standing at the corner of the street with a guitar and microphone, and yeah, that in itself isn't too unusual, but the thing that Sam really notices is the hat.

It is, honestly, ridiculous. It could possibly pass for a regular top hat, except it's about two feet tall, hot pink, and has several giant, multi-coloured feathers attached to the back. It's also sparkly. Because of course it is.

Snickering, Sam nudges Bucky. "Hey. Look at that."

Bucky looks up from the (very large, very sweet) Frappuccino he's been slurping at for the past block and a half to look where Sam's pointing, but instead of laughing right along with him Bucky's eyes widen and he says, very quietly, "Oh."

    ROLLINS STONE MAGAZINE

    In this issue
Six of Crows: From break-ins to breakout stars, the band talks overnight success, music and madness, and everything in between.

Eddie Spaghetti once said, "Rock and roll keeps you in a constant state of juvenile delinquency."

That would explain a lot, as the dynamic within the band can only be described as a decidedly more aggressive version of The Breakfast Club. Namely: a lot of banter—most of which involves a lot of stinging and acerbic one-liners that are just waiting to be immortalized by the internet, enough hijinks to send any authority figure running, and a whole lot of waffles.

I just love this so much. This is so great. Also loved the fact that Matthias is the mom, that killed me. The friendship dynamic and found family is so strong.

    Summary

“It’s already been paid for,” the barista told him and then pointed toward the man that had been in front of Bucky. Even shadowed under the cap and hidden behind thick-rimmed hipster glasses, it was far too easy to recognize that face.

    Steve Rogers.

That was most definitely Steve Rogers -- aka, Captain fuckin’ America -- in semi-disguise, loitering as he waited for his drink.

Steve Rogers paid for his drink. Steve Rogers heard what he said. Christ, that was embarrassing.
