"All the reports say the same M.O. We have a serial attacker. Seems he stalks and corners his victims and before he sinks his teeth into them he asks them "Is this how you like it?" At first, they use to just be injuries. Leaving the victim more rattled than anything but now he is escalating to killing."
"And you believe these are pure-blooded vampires?" Kunikida asked turning his chair towards Dazai.
"Precisely. And the last victim before she died said she remembered the man tapping her forehead. She said it rendered her helpless. She tried to move but after that she couldn't."
"Interesting." Kunikida thought.
"Who is the first surviving victim?"
"Ah let's see." Dazai went through the stacks of reports on the case and he pulled the file.
"Ozaki Kouyou. Seems she was very reluctant to be interviewed. She wouldn't even go to the hospital even though the police insisted. Do you really think we can get something out of this woman?"
"It is worth a try."
“Shitty and long. All these cases of Yokai killing humans has everyone on edge.” Chuuya said as he sighed.
“People are scared. Scared humans show their true colors and are the most dangerous.” Kansuke said as he sat a bowl of food down in front of Chuuya.
“But people are being unreasonable. Haven’t they ever thought that maybe just maybe all they want is for humans to stop destroying their homes so they can live in peace?”
Kansuke smiled softly. “That’s because you have an open mind son. You can see it like that. I can see it like that. Others... there not smart like you and I. They can’t see the big picture.”
“Mmm. A god like me isn’t easily fascinated by the tunes of humans. But in my weakest moment your singing gave me strength. I want you to be mine and mine alone. I want to continue to hear those beautiful sounds you sing. Would that be alright with you?”
Dazai looked at Chuuya smiling and he nodded.
“Well then...” Chuuya grabbed Dazai’s hands in his. “From this day I Nakahara Chuuya will protect and serve...” Chuuya’s eyes flashed red as he looked into Dazai’s eyes and he saw his name. “... Dazai Osamu with everything that I am. If danger ever comes your way I will protect you in any way I can, and in return you will continue to sing for me, and give me your strength. This is our contract... our vow of partnership.” Chuuya leaned forward and he lightly pecked Dazai on the lips as he sealed their contract. Chuuya could hear the others coming for him. He didn’t have much time anymore. Chuuya leaned next to Dazai’s ear and he whispered softly.
Whenever you feel scared or alone... call my name... remember Dazai you are the only one who can call on me... I am yours faithfully now.
"They are now leaders of the Port Mafia."
"Leaders? What happened to Mori Ougai?"
"His throat was slit open in his sleep. The same way they said he did his old predecessor."
Jonō's eyes widened. "What could have possibly caused for that to happen?"
"Well his demon prodigy's partner was fearless and he was crazier than him. He was his King, and God help anyone... Who dared to disrespect his King. Let's just say Mori found that out the hard way when he tried to punish his partner for a failed mission." Fyodor smirked.
“Hey! You’re not supposed to be here!” The guard yelled as he raised his gun. The girl ignored him as she activated her ability. The guard tsked as he shot at her and she stopped all the bullets. She flipped the bullets around and used them to shoot down the guards. The guards yelled as the slide down the gate and fell to the ground. The girl looked at the gate deactivate and she blinked before opening the gate. The girl looked up at the other girl around her age who ran over to her.
“Good job! Papa would be so proud at your beautiful work.” She said smiling and clapping her hands together.
“I’m just doing my part. I really don’t need your father’s praise.” She said walking past her.
The girl pouted and tsked. “Still such a salty attitude... hmph.” She said as she followed behind the ginger into the Russian parliament. The girls looked around, and she looked at the map in the hallway of the building.
