Summary
"Of course, no one ever wants to report a relationship to the ship's counselor, but you'll find I'm not as sour as you'd expect. If anything, you'll find talking about your feelings as a pair quite a-peel-ing."
Mariner groaned, flopping down on the couch opposite him in defeat. "I'll do it if you stop with the goddamn food puns."
"I'm sorry- relationship?” Ransom stayed frozen by the door, hung up on that word.
Migleemo smiled patiently. "Apologies if you're not quite ready for the r-word yet, Commander. Maybe we should take things slower. Why don't you sit down and tell me when you and Ensign Mariner first got together."
"Yeah, come on Jack, tell Dr Migleemo how long we've been together."
When the ship's counselor thinks they're dating, Mariner and Ransom decide to play along to figure out why the captain set them up for a couple's session

Summary
There’s a small wooden stall set up by Hakund’s hunting goods, housing a variety of Oseram trinkets. Erend sees a lot of well polished steel on display, but that’s not what captures his attention. There’s a bracelet made of the thinnest blue machine cabling he’s ever seen, all woven together into an intricate braid. It appears both delicate and robust at the same time, and it immediately makes him think of Aloy.

Summary
“Maybe I should go with you to Barren Light?” Aloy suggested, but Erend wasn’t having it.
“No, no, you’re needed elsewhere, obviously,” he said dismissively. “We’ll make it without you.”
Aloy hated how Erend was looking at her – or rather, not looking at her – his usually bright eyes dulled by sadness and resignation. Their reunion had not gone as she’d hoped. Though what had she hoped for exactly? Warm smiles and kind eyes? A touch, maybe even a hug? She couldn’t even remember the last time anyone had touched her outside of a fight.
In any case, this was not the reunion she’d wanted. Her first instinct was to shy away, so she turned to leave, but then thought better of it. “No. I’m taking you to Barren Light.”
(Or: What if Aloy did end up accompanying Erend and Aldur to Barren Light?)
