An accident with the Resurrection Stone has far-reaching consequences. In which the remnants of the war, the cursed and the damned, band together in some attempt to salvage what they can from the disappointment that is the Wizarding World post-war.
Through a Jashinistic Ritual, Sakura receives a seal that allows her to glimpse at the past and future suffering of the people around her. She eventually decides to intercede with future events.
Hermione was not amused. Not. At. All. They had defeated Lord Voldemort after years of struggle. Witnessed the end. She had thought, with relief and without an ounce of charity, that she never had to deal with that pretentious, presumptuous, melodramatic, homicidal son of a bitch ever again. Apparently the castle had other ideas.
AU: Repeated Death Eater attacks on muggle communities, compounded with a harsh backlash to the Muggleborn Registration Commission and the subsequent incarceration of muggles and muggleborns, broke the Statute of Secrecy beyond repair. The muggle government was forced to react in order to protect their populace, which has resulted in a totalitarian approach towards magical peoples. Draco and Hermione are determined to travel back in time in order to protect the statute, but time is not easily altered.
Instead of being cast into the future, Gereon's attack in Redcliffe kills the Herald of Andraste. Her companions are thrown in cells, and the fledging Inquisition awaits annihilation via Corypheus's demon army... until a young woman is thrown through a rift, and as a result of fate or a coincidental timely intervention, begins to make changes that could give the Inquisition a fighting chance.

A modern day woman dropped into the "ass end of Thedas" and forced to contend with demons, mages, and the occasional unwelcomed everything. With no idea how to use anything more sophisticated than a sledgehammer, Jaime makes her way through this chaotic mess and prays it's just some typical, cliché movie trope that she'll wake up in her world after a who-knows-how-long coma.
She hopes, at least.
