Lan Wangji opened the door to the jingshi, and stopped in his tracks. He blinked, once, twice, but the sight in front of him refused to change.
“Welcome back, Lan Zhan!” Wei Wuxian said cheerily from where he was laid out on the floor. He had a very wide grin on his face, one that Lan Wangji had come to associate with trouble incoming.
“Come in, come in, and close the door behind you before anyone sees.” Another Wei Wuxian spoke up, eyes squinting in glee as he sat up to straddle - well, himself. The identical, mischievous grins on their two faces should have made any sane person take a step back, turn to flee.
It probably said something about Lan Wangji that he instead took a step in, and closed the door to the jingshi carefully behind him.
