Summary
Dragon Ball fiction often incorporates some sort of honorifics and familiarity levels. This little "essay" or explainer is to give you pointers to understand how some relations are conveyed through linguistics. Namely: self pronouns (how characters say "I"), second person pronouns (how they say "you", plural and singular), and honorifics (you know, -san, -kun, etc).
Now I don’t claim to be an expert about Japanese expression, but I know a thing or two about grammar-used-as-conveyor-of-character and while Z is nothing special in Shonen, it’s worth having a look because reasons :)Bookmarked by camshaft22

Summary
After the fight with Hawk, Goemon finds himself in a difficult position. Jobless, wounded, with nowhere to go, he’s left with few options. Lupin the Third and Jigen Daisuke are the closest he has to allies in the area, and though they have remained by his side for much of this event, Goemon is still wary of trusting them. Jigen at least may have a code of honor that Goemon has seen in action before, but Lupin…. That man is unpredictable at best. Whether or not one can trust him tends to be a toss of the dice.
