    Summary

“Hades and Persephone reborn huh,” Fury states then more than asks, “no need to ask which is which.”

Toni’s brows furrow even as dread begins to squirm to life inside of her.

But before she can say anything, before she can open her mouth and set the record straight, she hears it.

A murmur as loud as a scream from somewhere in the tomb silent bridge.

“That whole Merchant of Death thing,” someone off to the side faux whispers, “makes a lot more sense now.”

It echoes across the bridge like a gunshot.

    Summary

Tony Stark has a heart attack in the middle of the Barnes fiasco at the UN, and it's all Thaddeus Ross can do not to tear his hair out, because the last thing he needs on his plate is to get slapped with a lawsuit from Pepper Potts for shouting Iron Man into fatal heart failure.

He visits Stark in the hospital singularily and only because he wants to make sure that it doesn't happen. He doesn't mean to sympathize with Stark over the shared knowledge of the pure, brain-stopping terror of feeling your heart just not work anymore. God he's tired.

An unusual gem, where Thaddeus Ross is a decent person.
And Tony Stark is having a horrible week, where Ross might actually be a real help

    Summary

Harry had never really properly planned anything before. The fact that his first ever plan was risky and filled with assorted dangers was not actually deterring him as much as it should.

In other words, this story explores how Harry’s third year at Hogwarts might have played out differently if a little project management and an ambitious plan had been thrown into the mix. Harry’s relationship with Professor Snape hits new lows (which Harry didn’t think was even possible). He also builds some unexpected alliances and adds to his list of friends and family, but his existing friendships are tested as the effects of his audacious project ripple across the school.

    Summary

In the Shire, hobbits say, "What lovely weather we've having." They also stir their teacups for four and a half clockwise rotations, place their left elbow seven-eighths down the way of the arm rest, and sniffled pointedly, which roughly translates to: "This tea is over-steeped and bland, your furniture is both uncomfortable and horrifically tasteless, and you're a twit of a host."
    And I think that's beautiful.
    ~
Hobbitish is a language of manners and etiquette, the dwarves don't even know that Hobbitish is a thing, and Bilbo is trying to keep a straight face and his peace of mind while the Company unintentionally keeps sexually propositioning him and challenging him to pie-eating contests to the death.

Actions speak so much louder than words.

I adore this story. I read it twice a few years ago and have been longing for it again.

I can imagine Hobbits as snarky, cutting little monsters of protocol. Plus having a secret language makes so much sense
