    Summary

The immediate aftermath of "Wrath of Heaven," with an elf-blooded, Tevinter Herald of Andraste and future-Inquisitor, who once went by the name “Vel Rilienus,” back in ye olde Minrathous. This fic takes place from “The Threat Remains,” through “In Your Heart Shall Burn.” The main pairing for now is the Solavellan, but the end-game pairing is Dorivellan. Once and future OTP, for this ‘verse.

As of January 21, 2019: Next chapter's going up either Friday or Saturday! I wasn't blocked, but I had written myself into a corner. So, I scrapped the corner-stuff and started over, and now I'm back on track. False-alarm, folks! Also . . . the FLU.

    Summary

If life is a track, then Scott Ryder’s train was disrupted and derailed early. Repeatedly. And getting it back on that old track may not be an option, even with the help and faith of a determined, almost-was and not-quite-yet boyfriend like Reyes Vidal. But another disruption, followed by a diversion rather than a derailment, may be enough to get Scott—and Reyes—on-track. Perhaps on a track they can share.

While ostensibly preparing a large Thanksgiving meal for a large Thanksgiving get-together, Nessa Trevelyan and Dorian Pavus drink, trade barbs, and are quite thankful for everything. Inspired by a wonderful Turkey Day doodle in an Adoribull Facebook group, of which I’m lucky and honored to be a part.

EDIT: See just below the fic for the doodle that inspired this, and a link to the artist’s AO3 and Tumblr!

    It’s, “That 5 + 1-and-Soulmate Fic”!

Or: Five times John and Nate get high (and fuck); one time they don’t get high (but still fuck), and one time John doesn’t wonder about or eat his heart out over his Vaultie lover’s gauntlet-covered soulphrase. Because wondering? Is no longer relevant or necessary.

    Summary

Nearly eight months after the Hero of Ferelden saved Thedas from the Fifth Blight, the heir to Ferelden’s throne, as well as his retinue (such as it is), have settled into a stable routine. King Alistair Theirin and his closest friend—well, closest after a mighty and canny war-dog named Barkspawn—have also found their own personal routine of dancing around the truth and around each other. It’s become part of the status quo. But when things suddenly get awkward, frustrating, exasperating, and downright infuriating between the new king and his friend, former-assassin and future fashion-maven, Zevran Arainai, it’s really too close to call which of them is dense-er and more self-martyring than the other.

Thankfully, when it comes to this monarch and his favorite ex-soldier of fortune . . . Barkspawn is the smartest guy in the room, so to speak. Plus, he has epic, matchmaking skillz and enough drool for everyone.

    Summary

The Capital Wasteland Commonwealth. It’s been one year since Sole Survivor, Nate Jordan, convinced Maxson to spare Danse’s life and simply banish him. Nate then left the Brotherhood of Steel over their draconian stances and many other reasons, including growing ideological differences. Former-Paladin Jordan has joined the Minutemen and risen quickly through the ranks to become General Garvey’s most trusted commander.

But in the time that Nate’s been following his conscience and ambition, he hasn’t forgotten the man who gave him the foundations for his new life and purpose. In that spirit, he sends one of the best, most wily scouts in the Commonwealth to Listening Post Bravo with a message for Former-Paladin Danse.

Of course, Nate’s closest friend and his most useful . . . frenemy finding each other irresistibly intriguing and magnetic is not part of Nate’s plan, right? Right?

OR: “Danse is a depressed and paranoid android; Vulpes is a calculating, chem-addicted fox-rat; and Sole Survivor Nate Jordan is a notorious cheat at cards and many, many other things. And everyone lives in the Capital Wasteland Commonwealth. Let’s see where this goes.”

    Summary

“Where do you like best to feed your flocks?” said a man to an old cow-herd.
“Here, sir, where the grass is neither too rich nor too poor, or else it is no use.”
    “Why not?” asked the man.
“Do you hear that melancholy cry from the meadow there?” answered the shepherd, “that is the bittern; he was once a shepherd, and so was the hoopoe also. I will tell you the story. . . .”—The Bittern and the Hoopoe, The Brothers Grimm

OR: “A meet-cute meets soap opera meets half-assed police procedural/buddy-cop movie,” in which Det. Garrus Vakarian’s upbeat, idiot partner falls head-over-heels in stupid-lust with a volatile, outspoken, annoyingly hot Yoga instructor. Garrus, meanwhile, plays it smart, and sticks to bonding with and obsessing over said idiot partner’s capable, clever, compellingly unpredictable—and also annoyingly hot—father.

    Because Garrus is smart.

    Summary

In the immediate wake of order and safety—and the rightful dynasty—reestablished in Wakanda, Agent Everett Ross thinks about the nature of disillusionment, despair, and vengeance. And the last, lingering shreds of his old, short-sighted convictions and goals.

He also thinks about the nature of hope, faith, and sacrifice, and finds all three. Plus, renewed conviction . . . and a brand-new goal as he contemplates a good man, a good king, and a good people. Not to mention the most beautiful sunset in the world.

    Summary

Inquisitor Kaaras Adaar battles demons and darkspawn for purpose and profit, and he seals Fade-Rifts in his sleep. He’s a formidable battlemage and principled leader. He gives most of his earned or acquired loot away to children and beggars. He’s never lost a chess game in his adult life and can easily keep up with even Dorian Pavus’ banter and snark. He’s seven-ish feet tall, only a bit gangly, relatively non-hideous—if one happens to prefer liberally freckled and unapologetically ginger Vashoth Qunari—and can involuntarily conduct small quantities of arcane lightning between his copper-plated horns without even trying.

He’s also continually saving the world from millennia of its bewildering mistakes. He is not easily or ever cowed. So . . . why does the idea of confessing his powerful attraction and deepening feelings for the commander of the Inquisition’s military—or, Maker forbid, confessing them to the commander—frighten the bloody horns off him? Why is he increasingly certain that he’ll never be worthy enough?

    Summary

After helping to quash the first Blight in a thousand years, then being exiled from his homeland, and losing the loves of his life, Alistair Amell has moved on as best he can. He’s raising twin children on his own and trying not to dwell on the past. Unfortunately, the past is about to turn up on his doorstep, with figurative hat in hand. And bearing all the memories, regrets, and heartache—the lost love—that Alistair has become so adept at ignoring.

This first, seven-chapter fic is complete but for final editing (as of 01.17.2018) and I’ll be posting one chapter per day (through 01.23.2018). And I’ve already started the next fic in the series (smut, ahoy).

    Summary

Okay. Bear with me. This is going be a long-term series and as such, it needs a framing timeline/description of events. The author apparently has ALL THE TASTY, INTRICATE HEADCANONS, yet more keep happening to their poor, overloaded brain. The following notes, warnings, tags, and timeline are all that’s really worth info-dumping, for the moment. But this addition to this series, titled “Marvel Age Timeline” (and always, for easy reference, to be listed as the first "fic" in series’ ordering, once the actual first fic, "Neither a Guest. . . ." is completed), is hopefully helpful? Or at least marginally interesting? And proof that the author has given this mishegas some thought?

Five times Poe Dameron serenaded Finn. Not the only five, but five that really matter :-)

NOTE (02.09.2018): This fic is NOT on hiatus. I'm currently chipping away at it in tiny-ass steps. "Tiny-ass" mostly because I didn't finish the final chapter before TLJ was scheduled to leave my local theater. So, I saw it the final night of its tenure and . . . since then, nothing I write in this story makes a damned bit of sense and my brain/heart go haywire. The ending I had planned makes less sense than thirteen o'clock. I can't tell if that's because it really doesn't fit, or because TLJ broke my head- and heart-meats so bad that until I recover from it--it's been two weeks, almost--nothing will make sense. But I'm trying. I haven't given up or forgotten, despite the loads of Dragon Age fic I'm turning out. I have to write or go nuts(er) and if the Stormpilot ain't flowin', I gotta write whatever will. Being stymied so close to the end of THIS fic, however, is . . . enraging. My stubborn and contrary nature alone will keep me chipping away, rest assured. But it may take a few more weeks :-/

A prologue in which nothing too terribly unprecedented happens . . . a no ‘count Courier of little appreciable conscience or morals, and who specializes in moving extra-legal items, gets betrayed. Then summarily dispatched in an anonymous bit of desert, by a man with a famous name and eye-watering taste in suits.

    Summary

Occasionally, Imperial Magister Gereon Alexius is given firm reason to despair of his brilliant young apprentice’s puzzling tastes. Namely, after a poorly-timed arrival home leads to bearing accidental witness to one of Dorian’s myriad divertissements; a discussion of alchemical theory leads to brooding, confrontation, and revelation; and an after-supper apéritif leads to a confession . . . and heartbreak.

By the time the Elder One is defeated by the Inquisition, eleven years later, Gereon Alexius is just another old man. One with a lifetime of regrets behind him, who’s finally given up his search for lost time.

And now with the correct "ADDITIONAL TAGS"! Sorry about the weird Marvel-tags that got mixed in with ME:A ones. As for Burning of the Ships at Losgar . . . I don't even know what that tag references. But the imposters have been removed and this is NOT a weird Andromeda/Marvel/Losgar(???) crossover.
